Kyle is an associate attorney with experience in a wide range of intellectual property and associated business related matters.
Before attending law school Kyle worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner. In his time at the USPTO he examined patents in the multiplexing field for over two years. As a Patent Examiner Kyle evaluated the patentability of numerous patent applications, communicated with attorneys, and drafted office actions.
During law school Kyle was a Fellow in the Center for Intellectual Property Law at Whittier Law School where he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law. He worked in Los Angeles as an extern and law clerk at a boutique intellectual property law firm during his third year of law school. There he had the opportunity to assist attorneys in copyright, trademark, patent, and entertainment contract cases. He was also a competitor in the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition at Seton Hall School of Law.
Prior to joining One LLP, Kyle worked at a boutique law firm in San Diego providing support to patent and trademark attorneys.
Kyle studied abroad in Dresden Germany as an undergraduate student in the Boston University College of Engineering. A course in intellectual property during undergraduate school led to Kyle’s interest in a career in intellectual property law.
