Intellectual Property Litigation
Nick counsels technology-based entrepreneurs in building businesses and assets. He helps shepherd ideas from conception to commercialization. He also guides entrepreneurs through the general legal matters they face as they grow their business – including providing intellectual property counseling, closing financings, and drafting technology-based agreements.
Nick has represented clients in a wide range of technology sections, including biotech, information technology, telecommunications, computer hardware design and debugging, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Nick is also an experienced patent litigator. He has obtained highly favorable outcomes for clients accused of patent infringement and clients asserting their patent rights. His clients have recovered and avoided hundreds of millions of dollars in damages via jury verdicts and settlements. He has successfully represented companies in “bet-the-company” litigations and has helped clients protect and grow market share through strategic leveraging of intellectual property assets.
Prior to joining One LLP, Nick was a counsel at O’Melveny & Myers.
