Sammy Afrasiabi

Sammy is an associate at One LLP with a biological sciences background.  Her practice focuses on intellectual property law and she finds a particular interest in patent prosecution.  Sammy graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2019, and earned her Juris Doctor degree with an emphasis in Law and Health Sciences.  During law school, she was a Student Associate for UC Hastings Startup Legal Garage Biotech Patent Module and worked under the supervision of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati partners to assist a fledging biotech company with their intellectual property portfolio.  Prior to joining One LLP, she worked in-house at Popsugar Inc., a media and technology company, where she gained legal experience both on the studio and corporate sides of the entertainment industry.
